Villa Zagara play the red

CLIENT:
private, Italy

TIPOLOGY:
interior and outdoor design

The client wanted to turn a small shabby house with a large garden around, not far from the sea, in a second residence where to take refuge with his family in moments of relaxation.

Nothing complicated, asked the landlady, who has a strong practical sense and did not want service staff too present during their stay.

The minimum of structural interventions, was the request of the landlord, whose goal was to have the work finished as soon as possible.
Red was the color loved by clients, and design was played around the idea of red.

Conversely, the large-format ceramic floor was kept in neutral colors. And the gray pearl of the walls has expanded the spaces and given light to the rooms. The focal point of everyday life is the covered veranda, a true outdoor living room where the family can spend moments of pure summer relaxation.
